Rhino Lining may be alittle on the heavy side.( just a guess) but they do have products very similar.
Possibly a hard clear coat of a spray paint...
Possibly that new Garage floor paint ( is like rhino lining for your garage floor)

My thought was to make a mold of the chassis in clay or w/e then pour plastic into the mold...let set, and you have a cover for the bottom of your chassis. With that done you only have to deal with one or 2 striped screws rather than all of them.
Dunno, just ideas..

i dont think it weighs that much to notice
i would much rather lose a fractional amount of speed then to have my chassis have a ton of gouges in it
this would be more for the basher than the racer so i dont think weight would matter

Totally True, I guess while racing you wont bash up the bottom to much. Ive been trying to think of something to cover the bottom of my Chassis for some time now. Post pics of whatever you come up with.

*heads to Ebay to market his new Rhino lining idea*

bros-

Why not just use a thck piece of lexan and you can cut out or drill small holes to get to the screws for maintenance stuff. I like it, but it gets beat up looking after a while.

Good idea, im going to only drill 4-6 holes or so in the lexan to hold it in place and use longer screws in those holes then if there is any issue with stripping of the screw then its only a few..lol
One place I play has a damn gravel road so my chassis takes a beating from that. I thought I seized the engine one time cause I couldnt pull the starter, but it turned out to be just a rock jammed in the spur gear. wheeeew..lol
