Today I brought my nitro Rustler outside to have fun and tune it and.... i leaned it out and went through my neighbors grass and it reved really high like i stripped my spur gear... and i was like no problem i got a few extra....but i had a steel spur so i knew it wouldn't of stripped...but then i checked the clutch bell and it was fine...then i started to freak out because i just got it fixed...then one of my friends called and he said to check your wheel nuts and then I looked and it was almost falling off.... and i was like OH MAN
I was lucky that i didnt buy a new transmission bc that would have been a big waste of money

Can someone say threadlocker?
I have an electric Rustler and that used to happen all the time until I used some of this. Haven't had a problem since.

I'm assuming your wheel nuts are locknuts. I believe every car comes with those now but my Bandit, around 4 years ago, didn't. So if in fact it doesn't have any locknuts, then get some of those. Bring your car or just an axle along with you so you can make sure that the locknuts fit correctly, don't just bring the nut.
Even with the locknuts, they seem to work themselves loose too sometimes. Definitely not as much as regular ones, but they still do. I think your hardware store may have some threadlocker there; The Home Depot by my house carries it.
After this you should have no problems, unless you do something crazy... [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
