Default rush clutch

my nitro rush seems to just eat away slipper clutch's and i dunno why. i have spoke to hpi and i have it at the correct tightness to how they come in the box. i wanna use it in a bit so is there any way of making up a temp slipper clutch or securing some way as to make it go?

If you are stripping slipper clutches its too loose.tighten it up all the way then back off about 1/8 turn.make sure the gears are alligned properly.I bought my savage ready built.first time out I stripped a spur gear.I then backed the slipper off and melted that.Learnt that the problem was the allignment in the mesh was wrong.....
