Default OS 12 TZ Help !!!!!!

I just bought the OSv12 TZ 5 port . I was going to put it on my losi XXX NT . When I went to put the fly wheel on the engine it on went to the threads and would not go any further.

There is only one listing for the 5 port and its 12TZ (p) T5 .What does the (P) stand for ? Plain ? ????????

Did I get the wrong motor ? Do they make a 5 port for a truck ?

Please help !!!!

The crank shaft on the motor is long. I have cut cranks off before but it looks like if I cut this one it will still be to long. If I drill out the fly wheel to go on then the clutch nut will not tighten up to the fly wheel.

I think you got the one with the wrong crankshaft for the Losi NT. That one works with a touring car.

The (p) meens Pilot shaft. That is the wrong crankshaft for the XXX-NT, and it doesn't come with the right shaft for the XXX-NT because it is designed for onroad racing. A 5 port isn't even race leagal for stadium truck racing.

can't he use a flywheel and clutch from a jato or T-maxx? There is always a way to make it work.

Where I race at there is no roar rules , just track rules. I could race a 5 port .
What about the 3 port ....will it work on the losi and is there a whole lot of difference in the power ?

3 port engine usually have more torque than 5 port and 5 port have more RPM. That why 3 port is better for your losi. go 3 port it's better for your stadium truck.
