Im need to order a new manifold( for the Duratrax Evader. DTX .18) right away and I thought I would see if maybe I should just get a whole new pipe as well. I bent the sh*t outa the old manifold, im not sure just how I bent it the way I did, but I sent the truck into a nasty set of cartwheels, then I saw the pipe go flying, and after another 7-8 cartwheels, It finally stopped. So it broke the little piece of wire (the mount) then must have landed funny cause now the manifold points my pipe almost directly out the side of my truck.. Anyhow I need to order a new manifold no matter what. Now that I am browsing Towerhobbies I cant seem to find JUST the manifold, they sell either just the pipe or the whole set. Since I did dent the pipe anyhow maybe I should just get another one. but Since I am getting a new one anyhow... any suggestions on what pipe to get?
A link to the pipe would be most wonderful

Well I need to outfit my Evader ST with the DTX .18 ..
Honestly I just want to be able to bolt it on and fire it up..I just thought that maybe since I have to get a new one anyhow I would see what my options were. I dont want to have to 'Jerry Rig' the pipe to stay on..lol so something that will fit the stock mount.

The THS 1/10 scale pipe is NICE its chrome and it fits right on it is spring coupler and stuff...you just need to rebend the little silver pin thing that the end of the pipe goes onto its worth the 50$ or 60$

Nice, man I searched for that forl ike half hour..lol...So if I understand correctly, you can basically put any muffler(PIPE) onto any engine as long as it mounts the way you need it to. Cause its the manifold that creates the 'seal' and the connection to the engine. And the silicone connects the manifold and pipe. If I get THAT manifold I can install most pipes with the same general shape..?

Mostly because I am to impatient and I will put the Order on Rush and pay an arm and half my leg, so I may as well make it worth it. Im calling around right now to LHS to see if any of them have it in stock first, just the Manifold and the Mounting thing..lol.
Well thanx for your help and I hope ya know the ..!., was a joke, cause soon as you said it took you 5 min, I found the stupid manifold right where I was looking...Go figure huh.

shoot dude.. I've got one laying here you can have...
the problem is, I'm about 60 miles from tower hobbies, so it'll take just as long to get the manifold from me as it will them..

Thasts a mighty fine offer. I actually found one in Town here, its the whole set, but thats ok..With all the spare parts and upgrades I can almost buiild a whole new stock truck Minus engine and Radio... So I guess if anyone is interested I could possibly get a parts list with part Numbers and so on... I have no use for some of the parts...

Well if practicing means doing a bunch of SETS of cartwheels before eventually breaking something, then...yup I practiced...lol
I didnt manage to bend or break anything else.
Oh well, new pipe and new manifold are now installed, ready to practice on another part.
