i have a sport too its easy to wheelie it i put dirt works on it and i cant stop flipping hows that conversion kit going along monterpede? i was intrested in it. how much did you spend?

now for the rush, stiffen the shocks and put dirt works or some tire like that on the back and it should start flipping, wat pipe is it? is it for top or bottom end?

i have a jato but if you have good tires try going in the grass and doing it, it worked for me and sometimes it won't do it but it some times does it for me

Stiff springs in the back and tighten the feces out of your slipper clutch may make it wheelie. Also, try putting a ton of spacers on the back as well if you don't have stiff springs or put them on anyway if you do. I think, if you can tell it is about to wheelie, this may make it do it. You could also let it roll back a bit and then floor it, but this puts a huge stress on your drivetrain, as well as tightening your slipper clutch.

I would rather my truck stay on the ground though, because wheelies are just for show... But, if you have a big engine laying around, that alone should be enough to pull that truck out! Try an O.S. .18 CV-RX, TM, or TZ if you want that, but keep in mind you might have to do some drivetrain strengthening with the TM or TZ. I don't think the CV-RX will cause too many problems. Not sure though...

on a budget? how about gears? any engine, regardless of type or size, is tunable for torque or top speed depending on a couple of cheap gears. experiment with some 5 dollar spur gears before you go dropping your bus money on a new engine.

Oh, of course! How could I have forgotten. Keep in mind, a smaller clutchbell/pinion gear and larger spur gear will give you more acceleration.

yeah, or you can listen to me and get a 5 dollar spur gear istead of a 18ss or something.
new engines are cool, but don't forget there are a million and one ways to tune.
happy wheelieing!!!

Actually... in my experience.. you want the back end softer. With my evader, the softer i make the springs, the lower the back-end sags when i punch it.. giving it better grip and then the front in instantly pops up and over. Every time i gun it with the back-end soft it flips back and over. If i stiffen the shocks a lot, the wheels just spin-out and the front-end doesn't come up. The DTX .18 is far more powerful than the stock motor in the Rush however, so i'm not sure if the same would apply to you.

cheers again for the replies,

i dont know wheather this is true because a `mate` told me but if you change the lenth between the header and the pipe it changes slighty to when the power comes in?

-something to do with the longer the lenth the lower range power because of the exaust pulses slowing down?

-if this is true i can set my car up like this and it should give me more whelie power right?[sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]

thanks for all your replies but people are telling me different springs strenth, some a saying hard some are saying
standerd,

any conclusion ------ PLEASE[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

I would just get the yellow soft springs (that's what I use on my MT2) and the stiff and stiffer springs. I think the stiffest is the purple, but I'm not sure. Then you can just experiment! I pair of springs is only about 3 bucks, so, it isn't a huge dent in the wallet.

Hah, I'm from Birmingham too! Though, I don't think it is the same one!
