Hey guess I am wondering the supercharger will fit the traxxas 2.5r becuase i am going to get it. Becuase i can see if it even gives any power and i am still thinking on the nos, and is the a big ore kit for a traxxas 2.5r engine.

No, you could get things that are worth while, instead of buying that stuff. Like arms, airfilter, body, tire, etc. Superchargers and NOS do not do anything, except weigh your car down, and take your precious acceleration.

Superchargers don't exactly work in two stroke engines... Seeing as how the exhaust port is open at the same time as the boost and transfer ports. Basically all it does is push the fuel out of the engine before it can be burned up. Though they might increase power just a little, it's not enough to make up for their weight and the extra fuel they waste. That being said, stay away from the superchargers. If you want a ton of power, at a lower price, get your engine ported. Check out www.Dadders.net he does AMAZING porting. Just go to the engine mods tab and check it out.

think about this.. for the same money for that supercharger, you can buy an RB concepts .23 engine and have oh **** power.. or even the OS 18..
I think either way, supercharge or upgrade the engine, you'll need to upgrade some drive train components, keep this in mind. When these things are built, they are built for the engine in them, not for much more, it'll be like putting a 350 chevy engine in your Simplicity garden tractor, it'll go like hell for a bit, but the transmission is going to come out of it in a pretty impressive and violent way...

For $100 you can get an O.S. .18 CV-R and that will give you way more power than your 2.5 with a supercharger. For around $200 you could get an .18TZ and have more power than your truck could ever handle.
