Default Official Stadium Truck Engine Tuning Thread

Myself and brownstone 101 wanted to make a thread about engine tuning about nitro stadium trucks. Anything to do with nitro stadium truck enginges should go here.I will start the diccussion off by asking a question about hot weather running. Brownstone101 and I want to know if the heat will affect the way your car runs feels, acts and sounds?
Thanks guys - MRTC3 and Brownstone 101

I kind of relate it to a high E, but that won't help you either

I'm a firm believer in a temp guage, they are only 26 bucks, mine is hanging on the handle of my radio so I'm never without it (when I have the cars out anyway)

this came with my t-maxx and I've got it taped in my box..
HIGH SPEED NEEDLE
higher humidity - set slightly leaner
higher barometric pressure - set richer
higher temperature - set leaner
higher altitude - set leaner
higher notro % - set richer

the sound will be different if you have a tuned pipe on it. each pipe makes its own unique pitch for every rpm range. i do almost 3 full turns on HSN and about 1/8 turn out on LSN makes a perfect mixture for this weather on my engine. I have a rush evo which has a T-15 engine, really easy tuning. getting good at tuning can take a while it took my like a month to get it down and once you have your engine for a while you can tell where you want to buy the sounds and the temperature of the engine. later
