So I have A Nitro Evader ST and I was wondering if anyone else has trouble keeping it going straight. Since I have owned the Truck I have had handling issues with it. In the Grass it seems to be the best, but on any kind of looser surface it always wants to turn one way. The same way everytime, and if I hit the throttle full it goes into donut without touching the steering (even when at 1/2 or 3/4 speed). I played with the camber and toe in/out so I could get them as even as possible. Now I do understand that The throttle is just as important in the steering as the steering is itself, but I have tried to control the truck with that in mind and still am at a loss. Could this 'uncontrol' be a result of something? Possibly one wheel 'Nut' tighter then the other? Or maybe the Diff to tight or to loose. Even with pavement tires on pavement it does the same thing just not as obvious. Im starting to get fed up with the truck doing this as its not much fun. Do you other Evader owners notice this? Is it most 2WD Stadium Trucks? My 4WD t-Maxx doesnt do that..lol.. most 4WD's dont.
Please be nice with your advice. Im not bashing The Evader
Just frustrated and need some advice..
Thanx

Have you adjusted the steering knob on your transmitter? I have an evader but it shouldnt just spin out like that. Also have you done any modifications to the car? Also if you have street tires on your evader they could be ballooning and your car will no control ever. If you go to that new Nitro Evader Thread it gives you tips on how to deal with this problem. And also, the stock servos in the car are crap, you should change them if you want better control as well. Just get the Futaba S3003 servo.

I have Alum Shock Towers, and hubs. New Servos as well. I know what you mean about the Throttle Trim, thats not it. It seems like one tire is spinning more then the other, so could that be the diff? I dunno, I have a T-Maxx now and am looking to trade my Evader. for an on-road car. Any offers?

Doesnt matter what tires, the Stock ones, pavement, Bow Ties... Any surface any tire it wants to do the same thing. Just the loser the surface the more it reacts.

Ok. i had the same exact issue with my evader when it was new. Brand-new tires on it (stock ones) and ANY surface it would just start doing doughnuts with throttle! I was SOOO frustrated i wanted to throw the thing into the wall. Turns out that bowtie's simply flat out suck in my area. NO one uses them here. I got some dirt works for basic bashing.. huge improvement. I also got gladiators for racing, and masher 2000's for more bashing. The masher's are excellent traction for me.
Also.. you REALLY need to ease up the slipper. I loosened mine to the point where it just barely won't wheelie anymore. Now it is muuuuch more controllable.

mine is fine with off road tires off the road.. but I put on road tires on the thing and all it'll do is donuts.. there's no way to get it in a straight line..

I had a small problem like this, it turned out that I had part of the servo saver tightened down too hard and the servo wouldn't return to it's home position.
Try loosening it up, the part that mounts the servo saver to the chassis.
