Hi,
I want to buy a new RC car. I had a Tamiya 4WD Hot Shot years ago.
My question is, which would be better to start with, FWD or RWD? and why?
Which makes a better all around racer in the long run?
I was thinking of the Tamiya MinCooper.
Thanks!

in this it all depends on your preference if you want FWD go for it .. parts are limited its more of a scale operation thing that a really useful drive train Torque steer will become your enemy
rwd is the standard in our hobby its easiest to do.. easiest to deal with and with a lil proper setup great for racing
AWD is a racers dream when it comes to this hobby.. proper setup and you can compete turn in is perfect turning radius very short and power down is great
so i mean in the end it comes down to your driving style.. but if you look around youll find only the tamiya kit and one other are strictly FWD its neat.. and could be alot of fun in racing
because then it would truly be a drivers race.. "lets see whos slick enough to deal with all those FWD QUIRKS!!" lol..
