Default Making you RS4 RWD

My friend removed his front dogbones to make his RS4 RWD instead of AWD....Is that a bad idea? does it do damage to the car or engine?

all you have to do is remove the center dogbone so there is less drag through the diff, its not really a good idea because traction is horrible, tis nearly impossible to control, there are no front brakes which makes it like trying to use the e-brake on your car, and it easily over revs your engine, plus putting twice the power to a diff isnt good
