I think a traxxas nitro rustler would be a good starter rc nitro car and a good racer

The HPI MT-2 is a nice durable beginner car that handles good and has a long lasting engine.

next time im there i'll look under the hood of this truggy, see what it has in it. looks to be heavily modified with very durable parts. it was only $150 for this and im very limited on what i can afford in this hobby. i know i want into this hobby, and im saving my cash now and i also have a b-day coming up so i'll have enough to get into it. is this a good idea to go used, or should i spend the extra to buy a new one? any suggestions lemme know. thanks.

I would disagree with that knowing that the RC10GT has one multiple "big races" for the past 13 years!
