Ok well this is my first truck I ever really even seen! I built it myself from the kit which im sure you already can figure. But I have ran into a rather large problem that is really beginning to frustrate me. I just began days off today so i took it to a local area thats nice and open, and i got it started let it warm up etc etc. and well this is the first time i have actually gone to run it! and it was so gutless, it was not able to move its own weight, and it just sat there and not even high RPM it just kind of wanted to move but couldn't. I am yet to get a rechargeable battery for my receiver so i replaced the batteries i had in it and started it and it was screaming loud, it was snappy at first then not so much after but it wouldn't move! my spur gear and clutch was all spinning but even when i gave it throttle the truck wouldn't move, it would not go into gear, so first it barely moves, now its got an insanely high idle and wont go into gear...where should i start tinkering and troubleshooting from??

We had that problem when i got my kit. Look at the directions and see if you put everything in right and use the break in prosedures.you also might need better fuel. I have a truck and we have had problems. Like i said check to make sure you had the thing put together right and perhaps go see a professional at your local hobby shop to make sure nothing is wrong.

If it didn't shift try to adjust the tranny to make it shift
