i would like to know about RC car racing classes and sanctioning bodies..... who regulates the sport ??

ROAR is the big sanctioning body. most local tracks only use them a a guide because they are getting a lot like NASCAR with there rules. ususally classes match up cars and motors and then skill levels. 27 turn, 19 turn, and mod in about type of electric vehicle there is. nitro usually runs just a stock and a mod class.

stock and mod? nitro is always as per sanction or outlaw. so far as i know.

Nitro runs by what type of vehicle it is and skill level. For example "1/8 Buggy, Expert" or 1/10 Stadium Truck, Sportsman."

We dont have sportsman or expert here, if you dont qualify, you dont qualify.

I like that way more, and no outlaw classes are run here. Thats also way better.
