At my LHS the only fuel they have is maxys and top fuel. I bought a gallon (my first fuel purchase ever) of the maxys 20% for cars. It was like 30-35 dollars. My question is, is Maxys fuel any good? I am running a tower hobbies st-15 and it seems like there is no problems. Just wanted to know if anyone has an opinion on that brand.

For bashing you dont really need it. For bashing i use the Sidewinder bashing fuel, or the Phantom fuel. whichever my LHs has at that particular time. When racing Maxy's is awesome. For me its about $10 more, so i dont waste my good maxy fuel on just bashing around. plus I guess becuase its got a little bit lower oil quantity it might decrease the life of your engine just a bit.

traxxs top fuel is more expensive right? and lets say i did try that fuel would it work good in my little Tower st-15?
Also one more thing i was in my LHS and i noticed they had a pink and white maxys fuel, but they both where labled the same. Anyone know if there is a diff.

Traxxas fuel isnt good at all. Obviously theres no fuel out there that is gonna make your car explode, but that stuff just doesnt work well, and is way to expensive. And as far as the pink vs the white maxy fuel. you do realize the whole poin of the LHs is so you can ASK QUESTIONS!!!!. Ask them what the difference is, becuase ive never seen the pink.

I got some of the 30% Maxy's for about $25. Supposedly it uses a synthetic oil, which I know creates a lot of debate which one is better yada yada.
