Default Fuel Filters ????

Just curious.

Are these pretty much disposable, or can you clean them out, or flush them with nitro cleaner to renew it?

How long do they typically last?

Thanks,

You can just flush them out in the opposite direction, or some unscrew to expose the mesh filter. I'd clean them every couple gallons or so, doens't take more than a minute.

You can easily clean them out, it takes all but 3 seconds to clean it out. All you have to do is unscrew the filter and take the mesh out and spray the nitro cleaner in the reverse way that the fuel goes through the filter. Or you can just leave the filter in tact and back flush the filter with the nitro cleaner.

Cool, thats what I did. After the nitro cleaner, a let some nitro fuel pass through it the opposite direction, and the fuel changed color from a clean light blue to a dark greenish brownish color. I guess it was really time for good cleaning.

Thanks!
