This is the worst excuse I have ever had. I was all excited because I won a Nitro RS4 3 EVO last night for cheap, even after 21+ bids. This morning I get this email-
'hey im sorry but i nolonger have the toy car i sold it yesterday to one of my friends...and im new on this ebay thing and i didnt know how to cancel it...sorry for the trouble.'
I hate n00bs. I can't believe he couldn't figure out how to cancel the auction with over 24 hours left in the auction... What a retard. Being a nice guy, I told him to give me + feedback, and since he had to pay the seller fees, it was really no skin off of my back other then disappointment. No more... If someone doesn't have 99.9% or greater feedback and >20 auctions, I am not even screwing with them anymore. I don't ever have problems unless I go under these guidelines.

What a bunch of BS, i'd have him give you good feedback and then i'd give him negative feedback and tell everyone what he did and not to trust him!

How much was the winning bid? maybe it was too low for him, and being a noob on ebay, he probably didn't know how to set a reserve price or at least set the starting price as his reserve.
Yeah, they can be annoying. Watch his auctions, if he is lying, he might put it up again.

Tell him he has to get it back from whoever he sold it to or go buy another one and ship it to you as the auction is legally binding regardless of his circumstances.

He might just say he's a noob and not sell because he wanted more money for his car

Well, I got 1 + feedback without doing anything but being nice and he had to pay seller fees, so whatever. I came out ahead. Lesson learned.

I said it was all good, done deal and I let it go and then you have it inject your penny wisdom. That is really quite useless... Did you read the whole thread or just read the top post and then reply?

So the seller relisted the car... Now I am fuming... I sent him a nasty email and filed a complaint through ebay. Here is the auction in case anyone wants to know what NOT to bid on.

You would think you get more for your car if you use proper grammar and type more than one sentence. I wish you the best, hopefully you get it for the price you won it for.
I really feel like emailing him why he relisted the auction, I bet he'll say you didnt have the money or something.

All you have to do is create a few new ebay user names and have a bidding war.

My question is how STUPID can someone be!!!??! He gives you a load of BS, and then RELISTS IT ONE DAY LATER!!! That kind of stupidity should be rewarded, it's a rare quality. lmfao...

I filed a complaint, and now he is no longer a registered user on eBay! Ebay told me that they suspended his trading privileges. Justice served...
Here was his response by the way when I confronted him about it-
'look men ive spent almost 500 dallars on this **** and i wasnt expecting it to go for 150 this **** is practically new im letting it go for 220 or best ofer...if u dnt like how i make deals then just look for another car im sure theres plenty...if u want it that bad make me an ofer.'
Done deal. I can't believe that eBay handled it like that. Cool!

That guy is a piece of work!
But he could just get a new user ID and post it up again.

Well, at least e-bay tried to do something.
Dale, at least all that happened was that you did not get a deal you thought you had. It could have been worse and instead of a stupid little jerk you could have run up against a scammer and not found out untill money had been sent. That doesn't make it any less frustrating I know but look on the bright side, you got a free +1 on your feedback...

I thought that you had to tie your account to a bank account or credit card or something???
I also thought that e-bay kept records of accounts that had been in use and cross referenced those when you applied for an account. It's been so long since I regestered that I don't remember the process.

E-bay doesn't cross reference as well as they should. I have been kicked off before for selling "objectionable" material and I was back up and running in the next day or so. What this dude did was bogus but he'll be back up and running with the same car in no time flat, I agree we should create some fake names and make him think he is getting a bunch of money, then rip it out from under him. *I am vindictive though so this isn't out of my league. Sometimes you get good sellers, sometimes you get bad. Did a good thing by cutting your inconvenience losses and enjoying his demise from the account, kudos to you.
