im not sure if this is the right place for this post as i really have no clue what im talking about, i have bought my son a second had nitro off road car, made by smartech, it has just arrived and it doesnt start, we think it may need charging so we have now plugged that in, does any one know how long it takes to charge and if this doesnt work can anyone think of what else could be the problem, it is in very good condition and we were told it has only been used a couple of times. When repling to this can you make it as un technical as possible, many thanks

OK, pull start right? It doesn't start when you pull? Do you have a 'glow igniter'? Is the glow igniter charged?
Try this...
Fill the tank (obviously), make sure transmitter and receiver batteries are full/charged. Make sure the glow igniter is charged. Now put your finger over the exhaust tip and pull the starter, the fuel should start winding it's way toward the engine, keep doing this until the fuel reaches the engine. now place the glow starter on the glow plug, and pull! It may take a while if it has not been started in some time. If the glow plug itself is good, the igniter is charged and the fuel is ok (as in not too old), it should fire straight up...
