If it is a nitro stampede it has a different engine in it because the regular engine is a pro 15. traxxas, and that engine doesn't look anything like it.

If its on the receiver itself that doesn't mean anything. If its on a receiver box where the receiver is housed then its probly a kyosho.

I have the Baja Beetle with the .11 engine. They are geared slow. The 2 speed option helps. Reliable chassis design. Never gives me any trouble. Steering tends to be sloppy.

The one in your pictures is the newer release of the QRC chassis. Has a .15 and the option for a brake (reverse disabled). The gearing and steering components are the same.
