Default Flamethrower Idea Once Again

Ok, so i am thinking of building a flamethrower, not exguast like the other thread but similar at the back of my buggy. I am a little bit worried that a fuel source such as a deodorant (probably Ax) might explode when the fuel reaches the nozzle (the opening for fuel expulsion). Would you say that is a valid concern or is the opening small enough not to let oxygen go through and not combust the insides of the can?
This question is for everyone who has ever tried making the deodorant flamethrowers! This is a fragile subject since it can cause a lot of property damage . How would I secure the flame???

Use a butane bottle (lighter refiller) and rig servo to trigger the nozzle probably best accoplished by building a small metal housing for the butane bottle to slide around in. Place a spiral fitting over the servo which is mounted to one side of the housing which turns and then pushes the butane bottle forward which activates the valve due to the housing design. Place a tube and route it to where your fiunal exhaust nozzle will be. Use some kind of ceramic fitting between the the nozzle and the tubing to keep the tubing from melting. Snag an electric ignition from a propane grill, and put a switch on it get your spark to your exhaust nozzle slap in the AA battery. When you drive your car flip the switch for a constant spark then move the servo to engage the butane bottle and watch the flames fly. heh

Very very nice fugadude! thank you., i got a few questions, is this the similar type of butane bottle you are talking about?? [pic down there.] And would it ever blow my car up accidentally? and the last question: is the pressurized butane you are talking about expensive?

The lighter refill butane is very cheap. As for whether you blow yourself up or not I have no idea. I say erm 50/50 you lose maybe an eye, or part of an ear. haha

lol, hopefully my rc will work fine and ill let it rip 100 feet away, god forbid my nitro fuel tank gets caught on fire. If it does ill be really in a little bit of trouble.
I am thinking of taking a disposable camera, using the 20,000V+ from the source or something close to create a good spark for the ignition. Should work... ill post something when i test the camera ignitor

I have no idea where to aquire BBQ sparker and besides its probably part of the BBQ kit anyway. Ill try Canadian Tire. seems to me like the disposable camara sparker is really light, i have it and i have a heli servo to control it.
