I have a Evo w/ OS CVRX installed. Ditching the stock tires that came with the car. What tires do you recommend for bashing? Parking lot surfaces.

Either those or stick with the stock. If your bashing then i would say stick to stock. PLUS tires can get costly after a while. Hpi makes better quality R/C products then what people give them credit for, not saying there the best by any means. But the stock tires would get the job done if your just "parking lot" bashing

If you have the right running area i.e. skate park smooth parking lot, then go for the foams. Any one can burn thru tires if the keep there index finger hammered down, the point is trying to find tires for general purpose area (like all seaon tires for automobile). I've gone thru close to 2 gallons before i needed new tires
Otherwise
The best advice is to get an idea of the surface your going to be running on and then pick the correct tires. V-groove sure, but there are different compounds that you can find. You can also Look up the compounds on Hpi's website to get a better idea
Help this helps (without everyone starting to BI**H in this trend)

Thanks. My evo is 3 years old. Last mod was a OS CVRX. Switched to drift tires. And want an alternative when I don't want to drift.

Best drift tyres are the stock x-thread tyres. Give it a tank and it will be driftin' sideways haha
Here this might help, Have a look at the IMEX wheels. Have a look near the bottom where iexion bought one. Cant believe his selling his sweet setup [
