Weird question...I've been racing for years, basically without a problem, I used to wear glasses for myopia (short sightedness), then switched to contact lenses. As I get older (I'm 30 now), my vision is lengthening, and is now at a kind of in between point where my short sightedness does not require me to wear corrective lenses or glasses anymore, but it's still not good enough to see my car perfectly going down the back straight (farthest point from drivers stand). So this started me thinking about how reading glasses work (for long sighted people they bring close objects into focus), and was wondering if such a magnifying effect could be applied for short sighted people to magnify middle to long distance objects. Not just glasses, but some kind of lens that makes far away objects seem, say 5-10% closer while providing focus too. Wouldn't that be great for RC? Kind of like binoculars you could wear while racing, but with a very weak magnification.
Anyone ever heard of such a thing? Or is this something I should develop myself (I think I could do it using parts from the telescopic sights of my air guns, or even those plastic kiddie binoculars that have very weak magnification)?
Appreciate any insights...

Have you considered shooting glasses? the ones with the yellow lenses. I can't explain how they work but they seem to make everything easier to see.
