To have your truck Reverse you will need a Reverse Module
I mixer is only needed if you have a 2 channel radio
I dont have a mixer on mine because I have the stock 3 channel radio

also you will need a servo
it doesnt need to be a really expensive hi torque servo
#87039 REVERSE MODULE WITH MIXER (SAVAGE X)

check out the HPI site

people who race dont use the Reverse Module because it adds more weight to the truck

Huh[sm=confused.gif] Lowered? and if thats what you meen NO don't lower it, adjust the suspension with different springs or different oil in the shocks. The X is set up to work its best at the stock height but then you could put some hydrolics on it or sumpin [:@] bad spelling some times

Yes it will handle much better lowered but keep in mind you will not have the ground clearance if you run real rough terrain. I mostly race so I have mine lowered as well as a LCG chassis.
