Default so i washed down my savage with a garden hose

my question is, i believe i got some water in the servo box and some in the air filter (i got carried away).

will it harm my servos? i also hosed down the engine, causing some water splashed into the air filter. will it harm my engine?

i tried to turn on the servos, and it is acting crazy. will it go back to normal when it's completely dried up?

thanks guys.

Well im not sure, but you should NEVER turn on any electronics when they're wet. You're supposed to just let them completely dry out and then use them, so i think that your servos are fried.

I don't think a garden hose is a good idea unless you remove the electronics and engine. Otherwise use denatured alcohol or nitro cleaner. Or Simple Green mixed with water carefully with a spray bottle.

but on the bright side the throttle servo is only 12bucks ,you dont need a torque servo for it. the engine dump some after run oil and its good to go unless you tried to start it with water in it and hydrolocked it.

The Savage manual said that a paint brush is needed. How exactly is it used to clean the truck? Do you move it as if you're painting?

Just brush off the dust. I do this, then I use a toothbrush (my girlfriends of course, lol!) to get in the hard to reach places. Whenever I go to the track with one of my other cars, I take the chance to use their compressor to clean up the savage, just compressed air, and it looks like new again.
