probably stripped the threads in the ball cups. Either that or you're turning it the wrong way. Can you define 'wobbly'?

Yeh the right side on the turn buckle it is not wobbly that much,as in moving around tha ball not much. The left when i touch it with my fingers moves around the ball alot more.If it is stripped do i really need to change it what will happen if i dont? Thanks. And now i realised i have to hold it with pliers lol.

Yeh, you will have to change them (I suggest you change all at once), otherwise the first time you hit a big bump, the ball cup will just slide off the shaft. When you replace them, be careful how you screw the shafts in, make sure you scerw them in straight, otherwise the same thing will happen soon. Also a good tip for ball cups is to lubricate them (where they fit onto the ball) with graphite dust, it's dry so it doesn't attract dirt, and gives them a nice smooth movement.

Ball cups yeh, the black plastic things that pop on over the pivot balls. As for where, and how much...Dunno man, I still haven't upgraded to turnbuckles on mine. Next thing I plan to do. You'll find them or someone will know. Graphite dust at a hardware store, but don't worry about that, it's not urgent.

Ask at your LHS for ball cups, I assume they have HPI stuff??!

Take your truck with you!! Maybe this isn't the problem after all, but the way you describe it, it sure sounds like it.
