Default Pipe Upgrade Question

I am looking at upgrading the exhaust system on my Savage LE. I am currently running a XTM 457 Pro with the Stock Savage 25 LE header and HPI polished Tuned pipe. What would be the best pipe/header combo for this engine? I was looking at one the Jammin Pipes, the JP-2 to be exact. Will this pipe work good on a Savage and for the XTM 457 Pro? Any other header/pipe combos I should be looking at? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions!

Wouldn't it be easier to just drill a hole going cross wise in the front where the pipe mounts to bracket and just use a slightly longer pressure line? This way the exhaust will still go down just the nipple will be on the side. Or is it a bad thing to have the pressure nipple on the side against the body?

The HPI polished tuned pipe is a good pipe in my opinion. I would like to get a JP1 but not for my Savage but for my buggy.

You can do it that way. My friend used to run his JP-2 pipe on his Savage like that when he had it. IMO the JP-2 is a great pipe to have and to make some power.

I've found with the SH mills (who also make the XTM engines) the SH (golden lion) or the LRP monster truck pipe suited these engines better. Maybe the XTM equivelent pipe will perform well also
