X SS clutch problems

Default X SS clutch problems

Ok guys if I tighten the clutch all the way it is very hard to spin the CB. What should I do?

remove a clutch bell shim

The brass washer that goes into the holed on top of the CB. ou svrew in Z517 onto top of it. Chuck that brass ring; it's useless and a terrible design oversight by HPI. Instead use washers and shims of the same diameters in place of that brass ring.

the X SS comes with a steel bushing instead of that brass one us X RTR-and-older Savage owners know and loathe
