Default hump pack charging

I have my hump pack in my savage.. and its hooked up to the switch under the cover.. my hump pack is in the front of the truck in that front bumper

my question is, will it still charge if i plug in the charging plug wihle its hooked up to the truck and the switch is off?.. bc i dont really want to take off the header tank i just put on just to charge the hump pack.. so will it still charge?
