I don't know bout you guys but I have managed to get contaminants inside my tank that required me to use my spare and wash the inside of the other out. It's totally do-able, just make sure its dried good.

Go to your local drug store and get an .80 cent 16 oz of Isopropyl Alcohol (warning do not drink this it could cause death) this aint ever clear for you country boys
poor about 1 or 2 ounces into the tank and shake the truck like your pissed off at it but don't throw it down please, it might land on your toe[:@] after shaking, [sm=confused_smile.gif] open the fuel tank lid and drain out the alcohol. warning do not do this over the grass because it will leave brown spots and your wife or Dad will not like that at all. also do not hold the truck over your head and open the fuel tank so you can see the alcohol drain out, it could get in your eyes and that would burn like hell.[sm=cry_smile.gif] remove your fuel lines and clean them with the alcohol also and if your real dumb put masking tape on the lines and the carb, fuel tank, muffler and the seperate inlets and mark them with a pen so you know where to put them back. Now if your in a hurry and have a compressor you could blow all the parts till there pretty and clean. And there you have it a nice cheap way to clean your tank and not get soap in your mouth while cleaning because it was hanging open in amazement because of all those bubbles it would make. Besides this could happen when you go to the lake to rinse it out[sm=drowning.gif]
