Here is a close to finished product...again by no means is this perfect lol. Did it in about 3-4 hours.
I learned a little for the next 1.
Pay the extra 2 bux ,and get the good masking tape!
ALSO
Buy pin striping tape ..would have really helped the thin lines.
Looking forward to the next 1
Thanks for looking all!

Very wise words, better tape makes a huge difference. Another tip: Store your masking tape in a clean area and don't just lay the roll down on it's side. Dirt will stick to the side of the roll, which is the edge of the tape, and it can cause paint bleed by not letting the edge lay down completely flat on the work surface.

Nice job BTW. I've painted 5 bodies now and I still suck at it.

You used lexan specific paint right? If not the paint doesnt bond well and will probably flake off.

Very nice BTW

I didnt see any lexan specific..but then again,I didnt look.
However your correct.
The red bonds well, but the black and chrome does not.
I thought it was the masking tape adhesive not allowing it to stick, but the lexan specific paint makes sense too.
Lesson 2
lol
Thanks

I've painted a lot more than 5, and anything other than a single-color paintjob i do still turns out crappy, LOL.

Parma makes lexan paint also spastix and allclad. They have a bonding agent mixed in which adheres to the lexan. They come in pretty much any color you can imagine.
