Default Weight difference between LST2/aftershock and stock shocks.

I dont know if anyone has posted this info before but i finally decided to weigh them since i have both the lst2 and aftershock shocks.

2 stock savage shocks: 66.7 grams or 2.35 oz

1 aftershock shock: 88.3 grams or 3.11 oz

1 lst2 alloy shock: 102.5 grams or 3.62 oz

If keeping the weight down on your truck is important to you then the stockers are the best but if you want the best of both worlds the aftershock shocks are the way to go. You also have to keep in mind that with the lst shocks your adding on the weight of the mounting kit, it would be great if RPM made a kit out of the plastic they use.

Thanks for the info

And that's with TWO Savage shocks. I wasn't sure of the difference, but you can really tell they are heavier just holding them in your hands. After I installed the LST shocks on my Savage I was like "daaaaaaamn... this sucks..."

The Aftershock shocks do seem like a much better alternative than the LST units.
