I was just curious on a bashing stand point if the aftershock will be able to really compete againts the savage 4.6? I'm get`n a new car and its down between those two. My friend has a savage 4.1 and its a damn nice truck, but i have heard good and bad things bout both and really cannot make up which way to go. any help will be appreciated.

You have to think about alot of things when getting into the hobby. First thing is parts availability. If you have get the parts to replace broken/warn items, then the truck is no good.
HPI is good with supplying parts to everyone. And you can find them in just about any hobby shop.

The Savage itself is prolly the best RTR kit out there. Super durable and plenty of power out of the box. and the new RTR should be the best yet.
