when i rotate the crankshaft so the piston is at TDC, i can here a bit of air escaping from the chamber. When i cover up the carb opening, there is no noise, so air must be escaping out the carb. Is this a sign that my engine is getting old and worn? It has about 4-5 gallons through it I'd say. Will i be needing a new engine soon?

The point is the pinch at the top of the stroke................as long as there is some resistance at the top of the stroke its good to go[&o]
