Were all glad we can help. This is probably the most informative and helpful forum I have ever been on.

Just received mine in the mail Friday but kind of nervous about fixin' what aint brokin. I also have never been in the diffs and the instructions make it seem a bit more difficult then I thought.

On a side note, do I need to buy extra shims or is what is provided in the upgrade bag enough ?

Thanks

I guess I am lucky with well over 7 gallons on my Savage the only diff I messed up is from the bearings going bad about a gallon ago. I do have the diff kits with the alloy cups then next time I go in to change the fluid I will install them but right now still running the stock plastic cups with all that run time on them.

the upgrade comes w/ plenty of shims. I use all of them. be sure to use diff lube vs. grease.
