Usually CVDs for the wheels aren't the way to go, but I guess it depends what kind they are. IMO I would never buy CVDs for the wheels.

All those linkages and more moving parts is just more stuff that will break I have seen people use them and seen them break. IMO not worth the money, all I run are the HPI non HD dogbones and they hold up to everytihng I got 6-7 gallons on my first set, I am happy with that.

Well i got the MIPs all around on my racer and except for the pins slipping out (took care of that) they hold up fine to a picco 28 so far. I just ask cuz i never heard anything about that before.

Well, those aren't CVDs. They're Universals (just for the record ).

That is a the biggest waste of money ever. You could get an STS D30M Rev 2 for cheaper than that.

IMHO I will not recommend those type of Universals..check my pic...the pin tends to scrape the holes...

I've been using a set of the HPI HD 17mm conversion cvd's for over a year without some much as a hiccup. And I'm not gentle on my truck.

So far, for my Savage X SS Center rear drive shaft I used HPI's part number 86270. I ran 10 tanks already so far I never had any problems. The center front though is HD dogbones. I upgraded my rear because IMHO i gets so much stress especially if do the wheelies. I do my maintenance every 2 tanks

But I plan to upgrade the front as well using 86271.
