My family and my F86 made it safely to Dubblin yesterday morning. Drove out to Enniskillen(Oh yeah, they drive on the other side of the road, LOL) I figured it out rather quickly also, got here with no dents yet. After a short rest we made it out to the St Angelo's Airport and delivered the jet crates. Was hoping to meet with the orginizers but none were there so the airport manager lock them up with the other 4 or 5 that were already there. No pics to share yet but will put them up soon. Scott

Good to hear Scott, I am in London. We made it fine, but the time difference was a killer. Will be lucky to get there unscathed, these guys drive on the wrong side of road, and I keep looking the wrong way before I cross the street....LOL. Glad I brought a jacket, it is chilly here. See you in a couple of days. Take care.

Hey Scotty,
I knew you would find service soon. I know you guys will have fun. Gold would be nice but just fly well and bring home the planes. Anything better than that is icing on the cake.
Tip a pint for me.

Randy

As well as the long johns I would include - galoshes, rain suit and umbrella. We have just had the wettest June on record and July is not looking any more promising!

The last count has 98 contestants from 30 Countries in the 7th Jet World Masters.
Each country is allowed from 1 to 6 pilots that can be any combination of Individual (the pilot must also be the builder) and Open (the pilot is not necessarily the builder) Classes.
There are 9 Countries that have a complete team of 6 pilots including USA.
The pilot/plane particulars can be viewed on http://ijmc.net/
The USA Team is sponsored by Jet Central & AMT/USA as well as a contributor Ron Ballard.

I arrived in Dublin early this morning. Picked up my rental car and now I'm in Enniskillen. Cloudy, rainy, cold. all the weather for a great Model airplane event. Plus they drive on the wrong side of the road. I am extremely scared driving. I hope I don't kill someone driving. I started out opening the driver side door and then I relized it wasn't.LOL. I went to the airport and my plane has not arrived so I better go check on the shipment. Beautiful country. Deweyd

We are leaving from London in a few hours, the security alerts have us worried about getting to the plane on time, so wish us luck. We actually had HAIL yesterday here in London, felt like home....LOL. We have had a good time so far, we managed to get to see some of the Wimbeldon Tennis tournament, catch a show and see some of the sites and are now ready to head to North Ireland. The "driving on the road" thing may be one of the biggest hurdles for me to overcome. Maybe I should just get you to come to the airport and get Scott....LOL
Well I am sure the weather may become the great equalizer in this competition. It looks pretty bleak for the next few days, but I bought a rainslicker, a cape I think they call it here, so I am ready.
Don't bother packing shorts, you'll freeze your bum off right now.
Thanks for all the well wishing, and if your on the way here have a safe trip.
See everyone soon.
