Default sata minijet 4

Hi Guys

I am planning to buy a sata minijet 4 spraygun. I would like to know which nozzle size is best suited for models overall.

sata has standard size nozzle and a SR nozzle, which one would work best with our models.

Thanks.

Chaitanya.

Chaitanya,

I use a 0.8mm needle/nozzle for general spraying and 1mm for lacquer application. Superb gun, does a stunning job - see this for results:

Shows Geoff White and his Hawk, which he painted using my gun, etc.

Cheers,

Hi Dick,

Do you use the standard nozzle or the SR nozzle.

Thanks.

Chaitanya.

HI, I paint a lot of Jets, so any new info is appreciated, if it was in another forum, I would probably not see it.
Keep the info coming.

The type of paint you will be spraying should determine your fluid tip size, more than the size of the object being sprayed.

Ditto...gonna have to check the tech bullitens of whatever material you plan on spraying. Paint jobber should be able to help you out on that.

There are alot of different sprayable materials, some atomize the same and others don't. And it's all about atomization.

By the way Sata's are the Ferrari of guns in my book...got five of em' including the original MiniJet.
