Hi Lads,
I am at the paint stage of my XL, the centre section is all in profilm, and i was planning of covering the inside of the fuz in grey primer...
But as you can see from the Picture, I have some profilm in the way!
Question: Can I just lay the primer over the whole fuz including the profilm? Or will I need to remove the film and replace it with tex?
Cheers

I have had some success with Prymol an etch primer from Flair [ I think, I have had my tin for yonks.] Clean the film, brush on a very light coat of Prymol then paint.

Volkan,
Have a look at this article, where Matt sprayed over Profilm.

Hi,
Don't bother with a primer, mask off the area of the film yoiu wish to paint and use a scotch pad to gently key it. If you overdo the keying the film goes 'hairy' and the finish looks cr*p!
I did some tests using paint on Profilm and found this to be the best method.
