Just spoke to a local Waconian today. He said that he thought the field may be under water with all the rain we have had. Most of the area around the lake has been flooded. Is there a way for someone to confirm? My hunch is that the field sits up high enough that this is not a prob.

Guys the field is not under water it sits many feet above lake level
I got a club email from them yesterday and there is a work party scheduled
this weekend to get the field mowed and prepared for a War Bird contest in a couple of

Just talked to Larry. Friday is open all day for flying. As far as Saturday is concerned, he said the plan is to be done by 11am. So he said "come on down". Hey' the sun is in your face in the morning anyway.

I would be nice if anyone is not a associate member of the Waco club to sign up as an associate member. It only costs $30 per year. This is a great facility and they have never said anything about us invading their field so lets support them.

Just a thought.
