I just got my first shipment of Jet Central engines and I see it comes with Troy Built 5400 Mah Li-Ions! I was shocked. So shocked I thought it was a mistake. I called Eric at Jet Artes and inquired about it, and he said all the engines except the Super Bee come with the Li-Ion packs. The Super Bee comes with the standard "smoke pump" battery.
Anyway, this was news to me so I just though I would share it for anyone trying to decide which engine to go with.
Oh, don't fotget that little detail about the lifetime warranty.

Hi Ronnie,
I'd have thought you two would have settled "that" by now[
]
As to the Li-Ion batteries standard, I'm not too sure how I feel about that.[
] I kinda like the Nicads for ease of use (charge) and balancing values

Hey Chad,
thanks for the heads up. The LG Chem cell has been very good to me for my jets and giant scale. I had over 300 cycles on my oldest TBM last gen LG cells and they were and are still going strong. On my first turbine (P-120) I used the Fromeco 4800 peerless and had perfect results. 12 flights a day and did not hit the end of the pack, 7.1 with a 1A load. JME.
Jet Central is on to some good stuff. Good job!~)
Is anyone running the newest Rhino? Is it on par with the Merlin in throttle response and fuel consumption (efficiency).

Actually, I now stand corrected. I was just notified that my Super Bee's will aslo be coming with the 5400 Li-Ion packs. Those will be standard on all of their engines now!
Sorry for the mis-information earlier.
