I was just revewing my first post/new thread, it was regarding questions about my first trully ducted fan jet, a JHH Mirage that I got from, now my good friend John H. It's been about 5 years since I started my venture with the D/F jets and about 3 years with the turbines. WOW!!! where has the time gone.
I like to say !!!!THANK YOU!!! to those that responded to my first thread, secretagent, rider 60, rpmthech, thud driver and TheFath.
It has been lots of fun and a great ride.
And thank you to those that have taken the time to share their knowlage with me.

I'm still around too
, I think that we always have to learn from others and the knowledge curvature gets higher everyday. That's an amazing hobby and one of the reasons why I like it so much, we should thank RCuniverse too, it has truly became a "tool" for me.
Do you still have the Mirage?
Cheers

Carlos...
It is well known in Northern California that if anyone needs knowledgeable help with his jet, you will be ready, willing, and able to roll up your sleeves. I certainly have appreciated your help in the past.
Those who have helped you out when you were getting into jets can rest assured that their efforts have not stopped with you.
Thanks, Carlos, I hope to see you soon.

Ahhhh yes..... the Mirage. That baby taught me alot also. With the K&B 45 at 10 1/2 lbs dry you learned real fast about really flying a model "on the wing" and it flew very well. I was made a honorary member of the JHH "Hangar Rats" with that plane. Now Carlos comes over and we share a lot of information, mostly he keeps me current on all the new equipment and methods. I, being a stick and tissue modeler, now building with foam, fiberglass, carbonfiber and resins and maybe a bit of balsa, really need all the help I can get. Thank YOU Carlos !
