Default Jet 1a...newb needs help plz

Thanks for looking. I've never worked w/ Pnuematic gear B4. Just rec'd set of Jet 1a (Boomer XL) retracts. Absolutely NO documentation. None. Call in to dealer. In the meantime tho here's my question:

Seeing only one line fitting on the cylinder I'm wondering are these of the "air up, spring down" type?

Thx on behalf of newbs everywhere for these forums and the support of our fellow modelers.

Yep.. Brian is correct...If you loose air pressure for any reason ...the gear plopps down and locks ......Its amazing too how little air you need to get them 'UP'... when fooling around installing them in your model......use a Syringe with a festo and length of tube to cycle them up and down...

Brg

Hi,

If you visit "Als Hobbies" web site in the UK, Click on manuals, then click on Jet1A, you will find a good manual that may help.
