Default JADF F-15 documentation

I am looking for documentation, paint scheme and FS numbers for the Japanese Air Defense Force F-15 Eagle. If you have any information which would help me in this search I would certainly appreciate it. I am using this in a build of a Y/A F-15 kit.
Thanks

Tommy,

Great timming. I am also out in the same venture. I get my plane later this week and I do want to add some color. I have a poster of the Four or Five JASDF F-15 flying in formation. But which scheme do you want? I am going with Adding Black and White to mine.

First Pic is the jet I got from Tim Davis, Second pic is the color scheme I am hoping to make, and third is jsut another option.

John,
That one is pretty neat, and had not really thought much about that one.
Ralph, which one are you going with? I was hoping to find one in a simple color scheme with the Japanese DF markings. I have not made up my mind yet. I am looking at as many as possible ebfore I start putting the glue to the kit. I have the kit, not the ARF model, so I need as much documentation as I can find before I get started.

Hi Tommy,

Right the FS codes for this one were: FS36375 and FS36320 for the grey's and FS37038 for the black. I used 3 different sources for the paint layout and all were different. 'TwoBobs' do a version, 'DonColor' do a version and I got stuff off the net too. Best to see if you can get pics of the fullsize on this one.

Cheers,

Davie

Would be nice to find a plastic model kit with documentation scheme enclosed.

Type in "Doncolor" to your browser, then camouflage, then "by country" go to Japan and you will find four F15 aggressor schemes. They all look good. BTW Dave Matthews made a superb job of the F15 in my photograph, the picture does not do it justice, pity the model did not go to the WJM.

If you want an unusual JASDF color scheme from a plastic kit:

The "doncolor" that I found seems to be a photo development outfit. What's the actual URL of the one you are referring to ?

John,
Great site, and a great resource. I think I found one I really like, and can proceed from there.
Also Gordon thanks for the link to the model, that may also provide a good source, the more choices the better right now.

Anyone know where I might could find a few shots of an F-15 in this color scheme for documentation purposes? I have never seen this one before, but there has to be a few shots of it somewhere....
Simple, with enough color to set it apart...will really stand out with the Japanese emblem...

Just in case it helps when you're searching for images online ... you may want to search for JASDF, not just JADF as your original post stated : Japan Air Self Defense Force

In case it's of interest: http://www.hlj.com/product/IKA49522

I am going for this one. Since the plane is already grey, I am hoping to just add the White and Black.
