Hi everyone,
I am currently using a 9303, and was hoping to get advice on the gyro selection for rudder in an attempt to hover the rookie. Is a 401 sufficient?...or do I need to go to a 611? ...also would I have to use the Futaba gyro servo (9254 or 9256) on the flight surfaces that need the gyro (rudder specifically). That would mean that I would have to get two gyro servos for the rudder at the very least. Would you also recommend elevator gyros? Also, was wondering if one is intersted in hover this aircraft, will adding smoke make the aircraft too heavy? I am trying to find a spare channel to make this happen.
I am also looking to go with the Rhino engine by artes.
Any help would be appreciated.

yes....will include thrust vectoring. I have received some great advice thus far, just want to ensure that I am managing things properly.

I would think the rudder is useless in a hover since it would have no airflow over it.Should the gyro be on the nozzle instead of the rudder?
