I was flying my F-15 the other day with a super eagle and knowticed that at idle it had a egt of about 420 degrees however on my T-45 with a Falcon it has a idle egt of around 600. Just wondering what you other Falcon owners idle egt is. Is the lack of cooling air and space making my egt higher than normal..

I have a couple of engines which do not get much hotter at full power than they are at idle Did you notice what temp the falcon was at full power? If its not hotter than say 680 deg at full power I would not worry too much about it but if its over the 700 mark I would look at the airflow.
