Default jet joe starter motor replacement?

Looking to replace the starter motor with a better one and one that will work more than 2 starts. Can any tell me which would be a good one to use?

Thanks Todd

The jetjoe is a 6v starter motor..it will only last two starts if you put 12 volts to it.

(RK 370SD) is the number thats really hard to read on the side of the motor.

Todd;

Order great planes part number GPMG0310 from Tower, T-370 6.0-9.0 volt motor, You'll need to grind the oustide a bit for it to fit properly, It's the oen that I have used and last a lot longer than the stock motor, I belive thay are $7.99.

Todd,

I used a Graupner Speed 280 6V motor to upgrade the one that came on the JetJoe JJ1400. I also use this with my WREN. They will spin a 14 lb class turbine up to around 28K or more. And. they are very durable.

I'll have to try the speed 280 next time I start playing with the starters.
