Has anyone tried to install the JL 1/8 scale F16 Landing Gear into the Skymaster 1/8 F16. The JL Landing Gear looks fantastic, and is about the only improvement that could be made to the SM small F16.

Is there any other comparison between the two, which one has a better scale outline and detail. Pricewise, ARF for ARF, they are almolst the same cost.

Paul, I just bought a JL F-16 with all the works. Feel free to call me at work, or come by my place so you can check it out. The landing gear is a work of art.........but will it take my beatings??

Hi Paul,

I was going to do the same thing. I bought a SM F16 and was going to purchased the JL F16 L/G, but I found out that they don't fit. I would have to remove the landing gear plate and cut off some bulkhead area to make them fit. If you don't mind doing all these works, eventually they will fit, but it's too much work for me so I gave it up. My SM F16 is still sitting in my garage waiting for new legs.
