Sky Pipe was the first manufacturer to market an afterbuner for micro turbines.

I was thinking and if you were flying a jet with an exhaust pipe and then you fed in extra kero of course there would not be enough oxygen in there to get it to burn again. But if you have a gap in between the pipe and the fuselage (which i assume you should) which would have fresh air flowing through as an insulator could you make some sort of an intake into the pipe after the jet and before where you inject the kerosene? If the oxygen and fuel mixed in the heat of the exhaust also would it auto-ignite? Maybe this could give you a cool flame or afterburner effect or maybe even some extra thrust.

Yes, i realise that but i assume that he is talking about if you just inject kero straight into the jet exhaust. I am talking about if you mix in a bit of oxygen first to maybe give it at chance to burn. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this before or if it will work?

I am not sure if Airtoi is still in business but it looks like SkyPipe is. I think we have to ask the question what is he trying to achieve by running Kero in the smoke system. Is he trying to create an afterburner or something different?
