How low can you set the rpms on the Wren 54 SS. I am looking around 35,000 or so. What are the - about adjusting the idle. I have to have fuel line against all of the wheels to keep her from rolling. I lost the brakes today due to the Jet-tronics valve leakage and she kep rolling and rolling until I shut her down. I am glad I have a 5,000 ft strip.

Don't take the idle below 40K - in fact it shouldn't usually be lower than 45. There are two risks - one is that it won't throttle up quickly from such a low rpm and the other is that when you are flying, if you throttle back the engine sometimes overshoots the idle (goes below it) and it may not recover with the idle set so low.
