I just received an E-mail today from Hobby City which says that the SV100CC twin engine is now in stock for $499.99. Great price. This is revision 2, which they say makes the engine better than the first ones released.

Does anybody know anything about these engines. I'm ready to spring for one, but just wanted to check them out if at all possible.

The engine It look lots like my Grpro. In fact, it looks exactly like my Grpro. If it is the same engine, so forget it.

Go for a Rcgf 100 twin. It aint cheap if its no good!

Anyone who thinks they are going to get a brand new 100 twin engine for $500 and expect quality is in for a surprise.. you are wise to move on. Save a little bit more and get a quality used 100cc if you can. You will be a lot happier in the long run.
